We have 50 eye-popping models on display through Valentine's Day. These will be relished by needlepointers and cross stitchers. Linda Stolz, the designer of ERICA MICHAELS does a fabulous job with the covers of her chart packs, but seeing the stitched pieces in person is a totally different experience. Some of the models are on silk gauze and some are on linen. All are done in whole stitches, so you could do them on Aida, if that is your choice for fabric.
She kindly included a partially stitched piece on silk gauze, mounted so that you can see how that bit of preparation is done. It will also amaze you as to how large the holes in the gauze appear to be.
The models and supporting literature will be going on a road trip to Sturbridge with me to be at THE STITCHER'S HIDEAWAY retreat for the following week. There is still room for people to sign up to attend the retreat for anywhere from two days to all 5 weekdays. I am simply the shop boutique to supply fun product for the group.
